The Studio Furniture movement in America began after WWII, and delivered many prominent makers. Studio Furniture is considered to be art, reflecting the skill of the artist to interpret forms, and produce works in the extraordinary. Al McClain has pursued the development of extraordinarily advanced interpretations of forms rooted in the Scandanvian Modern era.
